Gardening Club retreated indoors for the second time in as many weeks today due to some very wet weather again this Monday. So instead of the usual outdoor activities the gardeners enjoyed pumpkin carving and Halloween card making indoors. The pumpkin was grown by the students last term and had swelled to a considerable size over the summer. Last week the students put together a seed bank for next year using seeds collected from the school allotment.
Earlier this term the students enjoyed a picnic and harvested produce from the allotment including chard, courgettes, runner beans, tomatoes and blackberries. Here are some photos of our gardeners' picnic and produce, what a difference a month makes!
