Just a quick reminder that you can bring any World War One and Two family documents or memorabilia to the Dining Hall tomorrow to discuss with our experts.
Also in the Dining Hall there will be our Second World War living history group with equipment and uniforms (which you can try on) and lots of WW2 infantry equipment including a large Vickers Machine Gun (they were used in both world wars). They will also be pleased to share their knowledge.
The WW1 cavalry will be outside in their own WW1 encampment over by the Sports Hall and will also be pleased to talk about WW1 and the life of the men and women on the Western Front. The Cavalry will put on shows at 12.00 and 3.00 pm. The last show will include audience participation.
Lastly if you are interested in Eighteenth Century Redcoats (soldiers armed with muskets) they will also be in the Dining Hall.
